Physical characteristics of diatomite: density :1.9-2.3g /cm3, pile density: 0.34-0.65g /cm3, specific surface area: 40-65 m 3 /g, pore volume: 0.45-0.98 cm³/g, water absorption is 2-4 times of its own volume, melting point 1650℃ - 1750℃.
